A staff making the report of cooking challenge at GWR HQ, said they have recently reviewed the evidence submitted by Chef Hilda Baci for attempt at the longest cooking marathon by individual.
The cooking challenge record with some strict rules that must follow and keep throughout.
And one of the rules includes there must be at least two items being prepared or cooked at any time, the number, name and weight of with the evidence.
That Hilda fulfilled all ofthese rules, therefore anyone attempting a marathon record receives 5 minutes breaks for every hour that they complete. This is to allow suitable rest breaks for the participants, due to the prolonged nature of these record.
In this Hilda case, there was a miscalculation when it came to her rest breaks, meaning GWR are unable to award Hilda the 100 hour she claimed to have done.
GWR announced with a time of 93 hours an 11 minutes, Hilda is the new holder of Guinness World Records tittle for the longest cooking marathon.
